Oshkosh Sweep
Bristol, WI – June 25, 2013. Bill and B2 Motorsports team headed up Highway 41 this past weekend to the third-mile oval of the Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway in Oshkosh, WI. Bill would take the 17B sprinter to the track in the middle of the twenty-eight cars on hand, qualifying fastest lining him up in the 6th starting position of the 1st heat race. Bill would waste little time in the heat race as he would charge forward and overtake Wayne Modjeski for the lead midway in the 10-lap event and cruise to his series leading 5th heat race win of 2013. Being fastest qualifier on the evening, Bill would pull the #2 pill setting him up with a 4th place starting position in the feature. At the drop of the green, Bill quickly moved into the 2nd position trailing front row starter Lance Fassbender. On lap eight, the pair caught traffic and that was all Bill needed as the #7f sprinter bobbled and Bill would capitalize on the mistake and make his way into the lead. From there Bill would lap cars at will, pulling away from everyone until the red would fly on lap eighteen. Once the green flew again Bill would continue to lead to the checkers as he would pick up his 6th win on the 2013 season over Mike Reinke and Steve Meyer and 3rd in a row at the Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway.
This week the B2 Motorsports team has a triple-header scheduled with the World of Outlaws. Friday, June 28th Bill and the crew will be at the LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, IL. Bill has won the last two Interstate Racing Association events at the track. Saturday night, June 29th the team will head north to the Beaver Dam, WI to the Beaver Dam Raceway. Bill has won 2 of the 3 races he has competed in at the third-mile facility in 2013. The weekend will wrap up on Sunday, June 30th at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI. Bill picked up a dominating victory at the track just three weeks ago in IRA action.
